Grinding ball for initial assembly SAG mill refers to the grinding balls charged in the mill before the SAG mill reaches the design capacity(or normal production). Due to the instability of operating parameters,worker’s proficiency,feeding mineral and frequent impact between balls and liners,these circumstance maybe induce breakage of grinding balls or liners to reduce their service life,which affect trial production and increase additional charges.
After many investigations and tests, based on mine condition, Goldpro has developed the grinding balls for initial assembly SAG mill. The performance of the grinding ball is adjusted through the improvement of the material and the matching heat treatment process.These grinding balls with high toughness and suitable wear resistance could ensure design capacity though adapting to such extremely harsh working conditions and reducing impact on the liners. Through the practice in mines shows, it has greatly promoted production designed and reduced costs.
